Feeling swiney

Well, well, here I sit all broken hearted, full of snot and my family departed.  How can it be! I can't be sick already. The kids have only been in school a week.  The bright side is that Jeremy took the kids to church so I could stay at home in my beastly pajamas.  Nobody wants to be around the scary looking lady who looks so sad and drippy.  I was able to sit down, un-interrupted and do a little reading about the upcoming H1N1 virus. Swine is easier to say, but really what IS the swine flu? If I were a pig farmer, I would be offended too.  So, in researching I found out something...... Prevention is key and prevention consists of WASHING YOUR HANDS more. Wow. I thought I was pretty good at always wiping my shopping cart down with the sanitizing cloths (I even carry a can of Lysol, purse size), using my knuckles for everything that my finger tip used to be used for and in general avoiding anyone who looked as though they were going to sneeze, including my cute 2 year old nephew.  Well, I'll give it a try. Wash my hands more.  I guess if the kids get sick then they should stay in their rooms until fever has subsided for 24 hours.... wish that could be the case for me.  P.S., if anyone is going to use my keyboard after this, please wash your hands.
